We discussed seasonal change between winter and spring. The Joy class has learned that winter changes to spring when the cold snow begins to melt and the weather temperature starts rising. Ask your child to describe to you the changes they will see when spring begins. They should be able to share that a change from winter to spring is noticeable when the flowers begin to bloom.
The seasonal change produced curiosity and a desire to explore for caterpillars. Take a look at two caterpillars the Saints found on the playground.
K4 extended knowledge of plant and flower life cycles when investigating how they change between seasons. The Saints were provided with gardening materials and creativity flourished. Below are a few of the plants and flowers that were created in planter pots.
Afterward, the Saints’ creativity continued when they made flower mosaics and other floral art.
Spring also inspired these cute photo moments.
